There is no more losing the connection between taper and body jewelry with these tapers. Your jewelry fits right into the back of the taper so that it is one smooth stretching and insertion. Just as with all of our other Medical Grade Blackline items. The coating is permanent so there is no need to worry about it wearing off. And it is placed over Medical Grade Titanium Jewelry so there are not even any alloys such as nickel. The 6 Prong Round Gem Hybrid D Ring has a 6 Prong Setting made out of 14k Nickel Free Gold and the D Ring itself is made out of Surgical Steel. The Gem is 6mm in size and is permanently attached to the D Ring. The setting is permanently attached "Fixed" to the D Ring on one side. Being "Fixed" means that you will not have to worry about losing the charm like you might with a captive ring and also it will always be facing the same way. It can be set for a horizontal like for a nipple piercing which the D-Rings are really great for or vertical like for a navel piercing or any other vertical piercing.
